Big Bang…Boom
- Artist: Joaquin Berrios
- Release Date: 1991
- Genre: Progressive Rock
- Produced By: KZK Records
This is Joaquin’s first musical attempt to develop a conceptual piece. It is a magical trip to an unknown kingdom with captive royalty and menacing shadows.
We can find musical influences from the beginning of the 20th century, particularly from Joaquin’s personal heroes at the time, Maurice Ravel and Igor Stravinsky, as well, as a relation to the esthetics of Roger Waters in Pink floyd’s album “The Wall” This is also the first time that the composer experiment with production and arrangements, writing and performing all instruments and voices. Quite a feast for the ears is this Operetta!!
