Joaquin Berrios just released “WAR”…”a letter to the Administration”.
A rough straightforward Rock Album with 8 songs centered around the war raging in the middle East.

The author considers it also, as some sort of epilogue for “The One”, his Musical documentary about the Trump presidency released january this year.
Thru this songs Joaquin expresses a profound disillusion with the administration he once fervently supported during the past election cycle.
Songs like “Warmonger”, “So confusing” and “The Faithful” are directly aimed at the current commander in chief and his complete lack of empathy with the suffering people of Gaza.
There’s been absolutely no compassion for the thousands of Men, Woman and Children, suffering death, displacement, hunger and destruction at the hands of a pack of belligerent evil men….Warmongers, empowered by political cover and Bombs made in America… all packaged, delivered and payed by us…US taxpayers.

There’s been such a disconnect between the Biden administration obtuse policies and the youth of America, that is now obvious, that there’s an irreconcilable generational gap between the geriatric powers that be and the new generations…this is specially depressing coming the 2024 presidential election with such sad characters in the ticket.

This “letter to the Administration”, is also a critique at the conundrum that the country finds itself at the moment. Many people, like the author, feel like they are “between a rock and a hard place”. Both mayor/only candidates in the run for office are senile men with a very dubious record.
Morally unjustifiable wars, by a morally bankrupt administration, and the thirst for revenge from the presidential hopeful are quickly shutting down the beacon of light, the shinning city on the Hill.

It’s been a long and agonizing year.

But… there’s still hope… the Youth of America.
Thousands of students in universities all over the USA and the Globe, standing up for equal rights and the defense of the battered Palestinian state.
Boys and Girls from all backgrounds, being political, religious, or places of origin, in arms together enduring the attacks of the establishment.
Their stance remind us that the warmongers are not the sole voice of this country. Damned be their never ending Gaslighting: UN ambassador, Security advisor, National security coordinator, W.H. spoke person…a whole cluster of liars.
These traders of life, greedy egotistical monsters, are the object of “Merchants” the 7th song in the album.

People are not blind, even if we’ve endured decades of misinformation pushed by the mainstream media, nowadays there’s a myriad of voices flowing thru social channels documenting reality and amplifying their critical voices. We can see with our own eyes and hear with our own ears the injustice and senseless pain inflicted on the innocent. We have to stop the greedy in their pursue of immoral gains.

Now, even with such a grim political panorama, Hope is still the last thing we are to loose, and as such, all this turmoil, may just be another step-stone in the process of building a better, “more perfect union”…only time will tell.
